Photo Hunt - View
Ballaghbeama Gap
Derrynane House
Somewhere in Kerry
The theme for this week's Photo Hunt is view. Here are some more photos from Ireland.
The top shot is full of dark mystery, the second is ebullient... but number three... I think the three of us have cornered the Irish landscape for ourselves.
Those are all wonderful shots. I like the way the last one almost looks like a drawing.
By the way, I wouldn't be surprised if the hotel we stayed at was the crummy hotel from the song diamonds and rust. I didn't think about it until you mentioned it. In the info on the hotel they mention it being popular with artists and poets for over a century. They did a major renovation and spiffed it up a lot so it's definitely not crummy but funky in a nice way.
I love this week's theme of view. It gives me a chance to peek into these wonderful views that otherwise I would not have glanced had it not for photo hunters.
As I've said before, Jams, it is almost impossible to take a bad shot in Ireland! :-) I do particularly like the bottom one, though - black and white makes it look almost dangerous!
I finally woke up and posted, so I hope you'll stop by: http://flamingofotos.blogspot.com
