The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
A charming sight, and almost a familiar one for us: two tabbies occupy Stella's lap as often as they get the chance, though they're both female and relatively lightweight. There's nothing quite like a lap full of cats!

When BBebe was alive the not-wife would have three cats on her. Ted never deigned to join in Steve!
