The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

ted probably feels as i do- comedy nowadays, for the most part, is simply not funny. :) good for ted!
Seems like half the time Ted is on lately he's passed out in front of the telly.Aren't there any old ladies who need mugging in your neighborhood, Jams?
I quite like Mock the Week Cherie but Frankie Boyle can be unfunny though.There isn't a lot lot of tv comedy that appeals here either Betmo.Oh Bryan, even a fiend needs his beauty sleep!

Now if there were a nice demolition derby on the tube Ted might watch.
