Photo Hunt - Electric
The theme for this week's Photo Hunt is electric. So here's an electric light, well a floor lamp with a textured shade. Good lord I didn't even stretch the theme!
Very cool... although I really would not have known what it was if you did not include a caption. Mine is up too... right here - http://www.slowtrav.com/blog/eden/
Well, if you hadn't told me it was an electric lamp, I wouldn't have guessed what it was. I love the textures and shapes, it almost looks ghostly to me. I did "stretch" the theme, but not out of shape.
This was a great theme that can be interpreted in different ways. I initially saw your photo as an abstract representation of "electric" before reading the description. It's a cool black-and-white texture.
Oh well, sometimes straightforward take on the theme works just as well.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend.
Well I stretched it big time. Well done Jams.

ReplyDeleteI wouldn't have known what it was if you hadn't said. And still I'm not convinced!
