The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Lemmy playing bass for Sam Gopal back in 1969 - Fater His stint in the Ricking Vicars and before his legendary Hawkwind period,.. Not my cup of tea but s long cry from his beer adverts!
Did you know that my human is the co-author of Lemmy's autobiography, White Line Fever? She totally remembers him talking about Sam Gopal and is totally surprised there is actually footage of his brief stint with him!
