The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Mimi returns
An adjusted version of an old photo of the dear departed , Mimi yawning. Apparently her yawn is the most viewed photo on this blog
It is sensational. You should offer it to commmercial poster producers and or greetings card makers, perhaps with a caption - "I may just be a pussycat but I can bite" or perhaps, as it's a yawn, just - "Yeah, yeah, whatever..." (10% to the caption writer of course :)
That's a very arresting image! It took me a moment to figure out what was going on. If I hadn't seen Mimi's name, I might have decided it was a trilobite.
