The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Lovely, and re your identity crisis, may I suggest again a real photo of yourself (funkily photoshopped to disguise if you prefer) and, taking a lead from Prince, a change of name to "Shaun P Downey, the blogger formerly known as Jams O'Donnell"
