The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

P J Harvey
I never ued to be a great fan of P J Harvey but her last album White Chalk turned things around for me. Her latest album, Let England Shake, is excellent

ReplyDeleteI was never a huge fan, but I always liked her, and I love some songs. This is a good one. She's a genuine sort.
