The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Where does time go? Time doesn't exist, only things that inevitable change. Changes always happen, thank goodness. Not always nice changes though, sadly. Happy Birthday young man (belatedly).
Happy Birhday
ReplyDeleteYour best days lie ahead.
If you ever get around to it photos of weeds can be cool. Can the familiar dandelion take over the world.
Happy Birhday Shaun,
ReplyDeleteSo this was the reason for the break then: going on a binge because of old age. I see ;-)
Happy Birthday y'oldie, may it be a good one!
ReplyDeleteI won't hit 49 for another 2 weeks.
Thanks Beak here's hoping that the est years are ahead!
ReplyDeleteSadly no bingeing for me Snoopy!
Thanks Chris. I hope your 49th will be a good one!
Happy Birthday :-)
ReplyDeleteAs to the time, I think somebody steals it!!
Happy Birthday [belated]
ReplyDeleteAs someone nearly old enough to be your father, it isn't as bad as you may imagine from this time forward.
In no time you'll be getting senior discounts, and you get to complain about everything with no one trying to punch you.
Ah Cherie I am procrastination, the thief of time!
ReplyDeleteI am sure that tings will not be bad Bryan. I look forward to blue plate dinners and annoying young whippersnappers!
Happy birthday, Shaun! You are still blooming.
ReplyDeleteWell done! I had a ginormous party that day. And you? Happy Birthday.
ReplyDeleteA mere child!
ReplyDeleteLove those drawings too.

ReplyDeleteI hope your birthday was a good one (and I love that tulip!)

ReplyDeleteBugger! I'm late! I hope you had some fun, mate! Where does the time go? I'm 52 and it beats me (ha!) but wherever it goes, it's going there fast!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, beautiful flowet portrait.

ReplyDeleteSyncy Nursie no worries! Thanks for your kind thoughts
