The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
So is that echin-asia? (However you spell it; I've no idea...) You know that stuff herbal retailers sell that's supposed to stop you catching cold... Which is what vitamin C always used to do back in the 1970s...
