The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
NASA got some remarkable images but I've looked at some Flickr photos taken from right down here where the rest of us are that were also really beautiful. We were totally clouded in so I was never tempted to burn out my retinas.
