The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
I've been reduced to scrounging dog-ends off the street... especially when I realized I had £20 on me and £15 of that would have gone on fags before next Monday I thought NO!!
