The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Genitals Day: A better name than Brisfest?
When the people running the Britsol Festival were looking for a snappier name I'm sure they could have come up with a better name than Brisfest... I know what that name conjures up in my mind!
And did someone get paid for thinking of that?!
