The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

An old cat enjoying his rest
He my look pretty decrepit these days but he still going strong-ish. Sometimes we do wake him up to make sure he hasn't died on us
You have to soak up the sun whenever you find it. I know the feeling.
