The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

I loved the original monument which featured the girl plus a transparent suitcase filled with items the children brought with them.I must report some of the pics I took in 2003
I looked up what the memorial was. Not quite what I was expecting. Interesting.
