After my first marriage break-up I had to sell my house in the country and get a friend to look after Oscar.

One night on my drive to my new home I saw a dead cat - not Oscar - by the side of the road. My immediate thought was, "Something's happened to Oscar!" That night I got a call to say Oscar had disappeared. And his last. He's now about to turn 7 years of age (approximately) and he is quite literally the love of my life! He's cranky, intelligent, sweet and loving, feisty and altogether filled with personality and love. I cherish every moment I'm privileged to spend with this beautiful creature and I don't know what I'd do without him - even when he's having one of his difficult personality days!Gayle Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09223914127626675167noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19492813.post-77958114937188520462008-04-04T14:43:00.000+01:002008-04-04T14:43:00.000+01:00Oscar was a lovely Mancat. I once had a stray cat visit my door many years ago. I called him "Orange Kitty". (Yes, I know. Very creative. LOL)

He used to sit at the screen door every night, so I started to give him some milk, and a few table scraps. He enjoyed it so much, he started opening the sliding door by himself, and he would come into the kitchen and wait while I washed dishes after dinner! So, I started buying him some cat food, and he would stay and watch TV!

Eventually, we went our seperate ways and now, sometimes, I miss that Orange Kitty. The Lone Beader®https://www.blogger.com/profile/17670946654211536130noreply@blogger.com
