The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Bauhaus - Bela Lugosi's dead
Given that the local kids will be out soon trick or treating I suppose I had better get into some sort of mood for it. Bugger it, here's some Bauhaus instead...
So jams, what kind of treats will The Poor Mouth be handing out this year? Just know that we live in a rough neighborhood, and any offering below chocolate on the candy totem scale earns you a vicious toilet paering, and the burning bag of dog crap on your porch.
Forget Halloween; all the burning dog crap in Texas was election-related. And there was plenty of that!
Bauhaus? Cool video. Stella has a book titled "Brahaus", full of... interesting... ladies' undergarments. It's better than the book I have of Bauhaus architectural examples. :)

ReplyDeleteI love this song, it dates back to about 1980. Hmm I never had Gropius down for a lingerie designer! much more engaging that architecture!
