The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Wordless Wednesday - Steps at the Chase
This week's Wordless Wednesday entry was taken at the the Chase in Hornchurch (or rather between Hornchurch and Dagenham)

ReplyDeleteNow, this reminds me of a place we lived in Yorkshire. It had a walled garden which had been untouched for many years....

That is a beautiful picture!!! Sometimes B&W or sepia tone nature pictures can be even more effective than color and this is one of those!
