The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Ah John Cale came to fame as part of teh Velvet Underground. Even the whole of del monte's out put between 1957 and 2006 is less fruity than Reg Dwight!
I've never heard of this guy before. He seems like a less fruity Elton John.
