Wordless Wednesday - Dryads
This week's entry for the Tuesday and Wednesday edition of Wordless Wednesday. The gnarled but dignified black poplars at the nearby Chase nature reserve seem to be covered in faces.
I saw your title of 'Dryads' before I scrolled down to see the photos. I love dryads and always think of them as spirits - then when I saw these faces in the bark I got shivers of delight! Thanks so much for posting these!
What interesting and unusual photographs.I love looking at photos of trees there is something very mystical and powerful about trees. Sara from farmingfriends
It's beautiful, I haven't seen a tree like this before.
