WW - Ingatestone Hall
This week's entry for the Tuesday and Wednesday edition of Wordless Wednesday
If any of you are interested I think it was also used in the TV drama Lady Audley's Secret. Not that the drama was that good you understand, but I do like Ingatestone Hall :-) Very nice Jams.
Happy WT/WW, Jams. This house is in nice repair, it makes me wonder how it is used now. Mrs. Jim's maiden name was Pitre (French). I think she is related to the founder, Petre, of this house. ..
What a 'deep' picture.
ReplyDeleteHow English.
ReplyDeleteHave a Great WW!
Very historical!! :D
ReplyDeleteIt's huge. I wonder how it looks like inside and how long one needs to walk from one end of the house to the other.
ReplyDeleteSpooky!! Reminds me of the "ghosts of Motley Hall" :) Happy WW :)
ReplyDeleteJams, This is wonderful. The windows are magical. They reflect so much light. I'm wondering about the meaning of the place name.
