WW - Dandelion
Well okay, a heavily manipulated picture of a dandelion
If abstrat dandelions are not to your taste here's a Hebe which is in full bloom at the moment. This week's entry for the Tuesday and Wednesday edition of Wordless Wednesday.
My daughter asked me JUST THIS WEEK, when will the dandelions be in our yard? She is looking forward to a weed many gardeners dislike. But we go out in the yard, make wishes and blow on those lovley puffy little plants. And spread the 'dandelion love' ALL around the neighborhood! Jen
The part I love about "highly processed" photos, especially of flowers, is that you are often able to see patterns of shapes that are not visible in the natural state. Like this one. Great work. Thank you for visiting my WW.
great shot!!
ReplyDeleteI love what you've done here. It's gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteWow...you are very creative!
ReplyDeleteThe Hebe is fabulous! I love flowers!
ReplyDeleteBefore scrolling down to the second picture, I thought the first picture was of fireworks! Beautiful flowers :) Very vibrant!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful. What great shots. Have a wonderful WW. :)
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky to have some flowers now. That is a dandy dandelion ;)
ReplyDeleteIs that the same picture, before, and after?
ReplyDeleteVery well done!
I think the dandelion looks rather like a firework and the Hebe makes me wish for a bit of colour in my garden!
ReplyDeleteYes, the 1st photo looked like a firework. Happy WW.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! Happy WW.
ReplyDeleteOh! Cool! It looks like fireworks.
ReplyDeleteI also love the Hebe untouched. Very nice.
Simply gorgeous. I want to pick them and hold them and smell them.
ReplyDeleteIt is SO not fair that you've got flowers blooming already!! Geez, I'd give anything for a yard full of dandelions right now!
ReplyDeleteI can appreciate the Hebe, the dandilion, well?? My imagination is good, but visualization is very poor for me.
ReplyDeleteGood picks though, and Happy WW&WT!
..
Thanks everyone
ReplyDeleteI love the abstract dandelion and the hebe(is that what it's called?) Beautiful pictures! :)
ReplyDeleteHmm just as well you labeled it then as I thought I was in outer space for a moment. Jasmine's in full bloom here, very heady stuff.

Abstract dandelion = awesome. And the Hebe is very nice too.

I like both the original and the manipulation. The abstract version lends itself to all sorts of interesting interpretations.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a dandelion quite like that before. Lovely. Happy WW.

ReplyDeleteInfrared Dandelion sounds like a kick ass title for a spy movie!
ReplyDeleteFirst shot is really creative and I love it! Looks like fireworks! The second is exquisite, I love the delicacy and detail you have captured here.
ReplyDeleteThey are both nice, but I prefer the manipulated picture it looks like a modern painting !

ReplyDeleteI thought the first one was a photo of fireworks! LOL.
