

The theme for this week's
Photo Hunt is candy. I don't have any pics of chocolate but I do still have one Zaluzianskya capensis form last year in bloom. The common name for this is midnight candy because it opens at night and fills the air with a delightful smell like dolly mixtures
These are dolly mixtures if you are not familiar with them
The midnight candy is beautiful. I love the way it stands out so well in the dark. The dolly mixture looks delicious. Hope you have a great weekend.

ReplyDeleteThose flowers called Midnight Candy looks cool! We have a plant that has flowers that bloom from January - March (here in the Philippines) and these flowers too give a wonderful scent at night. The Midnight Candies, the edible ones, these look cool too :)

ReplyDeleteBoth photos are wonderful. I love the flower, but I have never heard of it. I have a plant that opens 8 a´clock every evening. Now I must search for some info about the Midnight candy.

ReplyDeleteI was NOT familiar with Dolly Mixtures ... and I thought I was pretty well aware of ALL candy! LOL! I can tell you which one I want! It's that little black one in the bottom left corner... the licorice one! Yep! THAT one!
ReplyDeleteThe first is great eye candy. In fact, both photos are good eye candy. Some of the lolly mix are called gumdrops here.
