The theme for this week's
Photo Hunt is Water. This is the local river, the River Rom. Just before it joins the River Ravensbourne to form the River Beam it is let out of its culverts and allowed to be a proper river again. Okay it's not much of a river but it is Romford's river!
I think it looks beautiful :-)

ReplyDeleteHi jams --
ReplyDeleteDidn't realize you were Romford based. For some reason, thought you lived in Ireland! Anyways, about the only things I know about Romford is that it's in England and Ray Parlour's from there... ;b
Beautiful picture. I love spots like this.
ReplyDeleteYes, jams, the river is beautiful! :)

ReplyDeleteReally appreciated your comments on my post . Thanks :)
Ah, a river runs through it. Well, not really a river. Maybe a creek runs through it? Well, not really a creek. A spit stream runs through it? Yeah. Runoff from a spitting contest. :)
ReplyDeleteHouston is the Bayou City. It lives up to its name. We have polluted bayous circling all through the city. That's pretty much our only body of water outside the Wall Of Water monument.
It's hardly a mighty torrent EWBL but it's Romford's river. Ah the Bayous. I only saw a pic of the Wall of Water for teh first time this photo hunt.
ReplyDeletei hardly any shots of river or beach, so i ended up posting up on my experience at the fish spa :P
