Photo Hunt - Colourful
The theme for this week's Photo Hunt is colourful. This was taken at Annes Grove Gardens in Castletownroche, near Mallow in County Cork. It may be heavy on green but it is lush and green is colourful!
wow Jams, that is a beautiful place. I have posted my photo hunt early since I am traveling for my 53rd (ouch) High School reunion. Please stop by on Sunday when I will post about my granddaughters wedding.
What a beautiful place! Love your creative take on this week´s theme. I agree - green shades are very colourful, but so difficult to catch with the camera. I wish you a great weekend.
Are those water Lily in the pond? This sure look a great place for a peaceful and quiet siesta. :P Well, don't blame me.. I have been real tired these few weeks.
What a lovely, tranquil shot - the greenery is very easy on the eye. Hope you're having a lovely weekend, and not besieged by the same vile weather I'm suffering.
I once described the Olympic Peninsula as---"It's so green." My professor laughed at my failure of vocabulary and declared "The green gods are smiling."
That is sincerely gorgeous! The hubs and I have been to Ireland twice, and never got to Cork either time. More's the pity, if this is an example of what we missed!
This shot has so many wonderful variations in light and texture, and what is it? 40 shades of green? :-)
Love it.
Please stop by if you get the chance: http://flamingofotos.blogspot.com
