I have just watched a tv programme on a photographer I had not heard of before but whose work was stunning.
For over 20 years James Ravilious photographed rural life in North Devon, particularly that of the small holder. Go to these two sites and see his work for yourelf

I have not heard of him before either but there are some wonderful photos on the two sites.
ReplyDeleteBTW the first link needs amending slightly, it doesn't link direct without a bit of figuring out.
Glad you like his work too. It truly is amazing.
ReplyDeleteThanks for pointing out the cocked up link!
Yes it is amazing work, it has made me think of another photographer whose work I know you would like. I shall look up the links and do a post!
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing the post Cherie
ReplyDeleteThanks for the info on James Ravilious, jams! Sorry you hurt your knee. I hope it gets better.
ReplyDeleteIt was beyond photography. It was like a sketch.
ReplyDeleteReally good work.
Glad you like it Mary. My knee is on the mend but it still hurts and my mobility is limited!
