and stratght away I found myself catching up on weeks of scratching! The operation looks to have been a success but I can hardly bend my knee, I can't raise my leG and my quadriceps feels morE like a blancmange than a muscle.
Now for lots of physiotherapy... Hiho
Into the gym soon, m'lad.
ReplyDeleteFirst things first, my good fellow.
ReplyDeleteNot for a while James! First to walk properly methinks Julia!
ReplyDeleteAt least you can see your leg again - must be a really pretty sight after all this time ;)
ReplyDeleteJust take things gently. You'll be back to normal in no time.
Pretty is not the word that springs to mind. Still I've got the makings of a fine scar!
ReplyDeleteGood news that the op was a success.
ReplyDeleteI am very relieved Cherie. THe thought of having to go through that again does not appeal!
ReplyDeleteGood news on one front but does that mean you now have to go back to work? Still I am sure you would rather have been at work than enduring all these past weeks.
ReplyDeleteAh not yet jmb. I jave been sigend off until mid May. I am not going to rush things and risk aggravating things but if I can get back eaarlier I will.
ReplyDeleteThe cast is off
ReplyDeletedon't be too rough
it would be fun
to start to run
better go slow
on the first go.
Va pas par pas...
C'est ce qu'on fait
au Canada.
Meilleurs souhaits!
Good news and have fun with the therapy!!!!
ReplyDeleteSage advice Claudia, thanks!
ReplyDeleteTHanks Kay. Not sure that the initial visit will be fun though!
But apart from that, mrs lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?!
ReplyDeleteGood news, jams.
Haha Liz!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you could "cast off" that burden, jams. I hope you heal quickly!
ReplyDeleteI really hope so too Steve!
ReplyDeleteSorry for being late
ReplyDeleteand letting you wait.
So glad you can see
again your dear knee.
Even greater will be the fun
when soon you'll be able to run.
Fingers crossed, good luck & all,
Your Sean & Your McSeanagall
Ah with verse of that calibre I will be running a marathon soon Sean!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy!
ReplyDeleteBrrrr don't envy you but still it's the best way to get moving again.
Sadly it's going to be a long time before I am back to pressing 180kg on the leg press!
ReplyDeleteAsk the SWMBO to light some newspaper stuck between your toes when you are asleep. Guaranteed to have your leg pumping.
ReplyDeleteHa the last thing I want to do is giver her new ideas to torture me!
