Photo Hunt - books

Book Spines

Book cover

The theme for this week's Photo Hunt is books.

The second photo is the cover of the Folio edition of my favourite novel - the Third Policeman by Flann O'Brien.

Ha ha ha Jams!
Great cover, the second. Wonder why Suhrkamp (the German publisher) didn't take it.
What edition is yours?

What beautiful books spines! They don't make them like they used to.

Anneke (Mudhooks) said...

Sadly, spine art really sort of diminished when dust-jackets came to the fore.

I am always on the look-out for books with terrific spines.

Nice book you have there.

It was a great theme. Ex Libris is one of my passions. Although I don't belong to the group, I'm always so curious about what people read, that I went everywhere to look at the presentations. Lots of fun! You got the prize, Jams. The spines are classy, and the book cover promises excitement.
