Photo Hunt - Utensils

The theme for this week's Photo Hunt is utensil. A utensil is defined as an instrument or vessel used in everyday life. Given that plant pots and knifey things are everyday implements for gaddeners I suppose they could be defined as horticultural utensils!

The photo was taken in an outhouse of Ingatestone Hall

  4. Wonderful photo Jams and I never thought of gardening utensils. I could have had a pleasing photo with lots of flowers with a spade in the corner instead of the lame one I did put up. My brain was out to lunch on this one.

    Happy weekend to you.

  7. How funny.... both our posts are related to food!

As a foodie, how can I live without my utensils. They are the heart of the cooking.... :)

  18. Hi Jams... I'm back again. That's a nice pottery room - it reminds me of a fellow blogger who runs pottery classes in France. There's so much detail in the picture. I have to agree with Beng up there, it looks like a painting!

  23. Great picture, Jams! As I said in my own post, in spite of your perfect definition of the word 'utensil', all I could think of was knives and forks...

  28. Yes... an "outhouse" in North America has a very different use than in the UK... what the Scots would call "t'wee hoosie".
