The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

WW - My very final Dark Sanctuary photo
My final photo from the final concert of French band Dark Sanctuary. This week's entry for the Tuesday and Wednesday editions of Wordless Wednesday.
Jams!!!! beautiful photos of the band...but even more interesting was I did a search on You Tube for their music and found I really like it...very inspirational....will see if they have anything by them in HMV in Cardiff..
They are a bit dramatic but I think that's the aim.....
I have been looking for a new musical direction....
Its funny really Jams....I think the Europeans continued the true spirit of the gothic romanticism with music and here in the U.K. we had the American version of it.....
When I see posts like yours today I get annoyed at how complacent we have become here with our passion for great romantic ideas....
Happy WW! Great image. I hadn't heard of this group before...
Serena Williams is one of my favorite athletes ... so imagine my joy at seeing a buck-naked Serena on the cover of national magazine. I invite your blog readers to see this image as well!
Economic Voice. I did take these photos. I'll cheerfuly nick images for opther posts but Wordless Wednesday (except on 2 occasions) Photo Hunt and my Cat bloggings (except for occasional guest cat posts)are my own photos.
I'll post a couple of bands you may find interesting

ReplyDeleteEcomonic Voice. The style is dramatic but superbly done. THere are quote a few other bands in the same vein too, mainly in France, Germany and Italy.
I love this one as the final photo, it is very dreamy and thought provoking.
