The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
Were it not for the white and ginger fur, the different armchair and wallpaper this could be a photo of our old cat - the one who fell off the roof on Sunday .... and survived.
