The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Songs that go together in my head
If I think of one these songs the other comes into my head too. They were together on a tape I borrowed off a friend 25 years ago... Ach time flies
