The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

When you think of what people get away with like murder for instance. (That cake would be great plus or minus a cherry, who really cares when it comes right down too it. "waiter..." ;)
