The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
I assume she has discovered that it's warm up there, although not as warm as the old CRTs.
Tactically speaking it is a very defensible position with minimal opening for an attack from the floor due to limited landing space. But I assume that she is too well mannered to think like that... although she once was feral.
Fascinating to watch a cat claiming new territories. Each day my cats would go a step further, daring anyone to remove them...Your cats'photos are priceless, Jams.

She may be in the spot but she does not convey disdain or disinterest at what is on the TV like Ted
