The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
I like their earlier stuff, certainly. I last saw thyem liove in 1986 though. Their output post 1990 has bee pretty poor in my view but their first albums are great!
