The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Needless to say the Poor Mouth supports a fourth Labour term
I'm not as up to speed on UK politics as I was a year or so ago, but I wasn't a fan of either Labour or Tory. I'm not a fan of either Liberal or Labour in Australia either. Nor am I a fan of Democrat or Republican in the USA. I just wish it wasn't always a bilateral choice of the lesser evil.
