The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

When I said (many times) that your posts were NEVER boring, I should have added that you have a touch of genius to grab our attention by your suggestive titles. By now, I should know better but I always get caught. Bane?...I'll remember that!
