Today England celebrates.....
...the feast day of the patron saint of syphilitics

My (English) friend (local) is going to a St. George's tea party tomorrow, held by another ex-pat!
ReplyDeleteI hope they have an enjoyable time!
ReplyDeleteWondered how you'd handle it, Jams. Hope I don't have syphilis.
ReplyDeleteI hoope not too James!

ReplyDeleteAs he's Modica's saint too, we get canons at the crack of dawn [8 am], processions and the kids get a day off school!
ReplyDeleteEvery day needs to be Earth Day sadly LB
ReplyDeleteBah I would not like that of a morning... Wish I was still in bed at that time on Friday though!
