The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
I thought our little flower garden (Stella's creation, of course) was attractive, and it is (mostly to squirrels and the occasional mockingbird), but I have to say, jams, yours is truly lovely. Keep posting your photos of it!
