The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
This could be the teabaggers we have over here who don't want universal govt health care but carry signs that read: 'Don't touch my Medicare" or 'Don't touch my Social Security'. Where do they think those programs come from? Does the tooth fairy bring them?

ReplyDeleteWe are in for savage cuts across government Kaye. I shudder to think how people will respond when they see the reality of the cuts.
