Photo Hunt - Clutter

The theme for the week's Photo Hunt is cluttered. Here is a typical shelf space, This one has books oh and rechargeable batteries. Other shelves my have the not-wife's pressed glass collection, or my pens or camera equipment... or a cat or two!

  2. Aye. But in the lower left corner is the Lost Girls which is definitely not wholesome family entertainment!

  4. Those look like my shelves except I think you take better care of your books than I do of mine. Mine are dusty as well as cluttered. Happy Weekend

  5. There's a bookstore here in NC called "Books Do Furnish a Room"....so I call all the books in my house furniture, not clutter! I've got cats lounging around/cluttering here too.

    Great take on the theme!

  6. Green Fairy Book next to Napoleon's Campaigns. That's all he ever gave to France: fairy stories which turned into horror...

  7. Ah the photos did not pick up the dust Carver!

Now that they do Annie.. so long as they are not just there as furniture but to be read and loved

It is an odd mixture of fiction art history, fairy tales and some erotica too Claude but Napoleon did not bring much more in reality!

  8. I am amazed I stayed married for as long as I did. I am prone to outrageous clutter and both of my wives were obsessive compulsive organisational tidiers.

Your shelves look organised by my standards.

  15. Nice editions you have there, Jams. I used to sell second hand books at a market and worked at a couple of second hand bookshops, too. I love books. Such an excellent means of escape and no hangover.

  18. Thanks everyone. I ust admit that the clutter is mild but a pic of the true level of clutter would make your eyes melt and your brain blow up!

  19. Susan you are right. Books do make great shelves for books!

Colin, luckily for me the not wife is a clutter merchant too!

SE second hand bookshops are a true taste of heaven on earth. A dream job!

  26. Ooh, lovely bit of book clutter, Jams. Lots of history inside and around them! I especially like the bottom right corner, with its Borges, Muybridge, and Fowler.

  27. Thanks Stan. THe Muybridge was from a exhibition that was at the Tate at the start of the year. Excellent it was too
