The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

He may be planning to run in the US Presidential election and is polishing his image. Ted is certainly more intelligent than the "seven dwarves" running as Republicans, and he doesn't pretend to be something he isn't, which is always refreshing in a politician.
It's difficult not to look good in a dinner jacket, as long as you stay in reasonably good shape.

And on second viewing, that looks like Ted is wearing a (North American) Robin's egg on his collar! He really IS evil! It's like notches on a bedpost or something... well, that's not quite what I'm after, but SOMETHING.
Haha Knatolee! Mercifully the blue thi is his tracker tag. Wehave them on all our cats now. We got them mainly for Boris and his unnatural attraction to Izzy the mastiff but also for Robyn given that he is 17 and may not be with us for long (although he is in good health).
Ted would make a better president than most of the nutjobs the Republicans are putting up!
