The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
For a sweet dear lady she can maintain a surprisingly firm tight grip sometimes... (for goodness sake my dear I was joking... the water running from my eyes is soaking the rug now... desist!)
The muted colours make this one look meaner than the other one.
