Last week my dear Iranian friend Elahe contacted me to confirm that she had a second placement at the Cite Internationale des Arts in Paris and that her visa was in place. She arrived earlier today.  So without delay the Eurostar ticket purchased, a room booked at the Hotel Pont Neuf off the Rue de Rivoli near the Louvre (and about 1km from the Cite).  Will be heading over to Paris on the 12th for a few days.

My main objective is another trip to Pere Lachaise where I intend tobe taking a lot more photos!

  1. Elahe Heidari is so gifted. I just checked your link to her works again. With just a few lines, she creates moving images.

Looking forward to more Père Lachaise photos.

  4. Thanks! I'm looking forward to it.

Claude, Elahe is extremely talented. If she had lived in the West she would be a wealthy artist I am sure.

  5. That statue was in the wars. Nosebleed by the looks of it.

Montmartre Cemetery is beautiful too, Jams, if you haven't been and find the time.

  8. It will be coming with me! Even if it is, in your view, a hated Nikon!
