Photohunt - Covered
The theme for this week's photo hunt is covered. Here is a photo I took today during a mini-shoot with my nephew. For some reason I like to put my nephew in hijab-style head dresses!
Wow! First of all, it's a powerful photo. I love it. Second of all, I never would have guessed it was a nephew instead of a niece if you hadn't told us - just shows that we expect to see women in those head-dresses, not men!
Thanks everyone! Tim is a man of many faces and looks. He doesn't mind wearing something that looks like a hijab if it provides a photo that has impact Ian.
I have no problem with anyone wanting to wear a hijab. or a veil for that matter, just so long as it is their choice.
One thing that amuses me is that covering the face is a thing of modesty given that hair is meant to turn us men on.
I will freely admit I love long, flowing hair of the sort Shirley (the not-wife) has but hijabs do not detract from beauty. I find that they often frame a woman's face beautifully

ReplyDeleteGreat take on the theme Jams!
Ah thank you Annie. I took this photo only a few hours ago and in a bar! I am very pleased how it came out
ReplyDeleteI like it very much, Jams. I didn't recognise Tim, though. Has Tim had continued contact with a chameleon? What would Sargeant Pluck think?
ReplyDeleteThat is great photo Jams, love the headress, and the fact this is your nephew! Have a great weekend :)
ReplyDeleteThanks SE he is one versatile model!
ReplyDeleteThanks Sue. I am very, very please with this photo

ReplyDeleteGreat image and thought-provoking as well.
ReplyDeleteStunning shot. Have you tried a Hijab yourself?
ReplyDeleteArchie Colin thanks! I've not tried the hijab myself. Tim I think carries the look off better than I would!

ReplyDeleteAh thanks Genegen. Tim is an aspiring model. He is very. very good too but then I am biased as he is my nephew!
ReplyDeleteThanks Liz. I thing that this one is for my portfolio!
Very good indeed. Very thought-provoking.
ReplyDeleteBut perhaps cover him up a bit more before he turns me on?
Next time he'll be in a burqa Androgynous. We don't want your loins all aflame!
ReplyDeleteThat's an interesting way of covering the face. It works well on him.
ReplyDeleteWhy thankyou AA!
ReplyDeleteLove the photo and how you twisted with the viewer's mind a bit. I agree with Annie - poweerful.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
Wow. I wouldn't have guessed that was nephew! Captivating!
ReplyDeletedid you sew the chains on too?
ReplyDeleteCool shot, but needs a bicycle chain too for completeness ;-)
