The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

She seems a bit miffed at not being the object of his attention. This is a very fine photo, in my opinion. I could see it up on many a wall.
