The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Hair, operation scar, deformed knee and psoriasis plaque
That's a big scar, Jams. I'm sort of fascinated by scars. I've often thought I'd like to do a photographic series of them. Nurse Myra has a big one on her thigh. Anyway, I do hope that that knee doesn't still give you trouble.
It is a leg just like any other, and unlike any other.

AH it is Syncy. Surgeons had to open up a fair bit of my upper leg so they could put the quadriceps back together.

Luckily it doesn't give me much problem now. the second operation cleared up most of the pain
