The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

Still going strong

Still rocking today!
I only saw Girlschool once - at the Hammersmith Palais in 1981. Glad to see they are still going strong today. Sadly Kelly Johnson, the original lead guitarist, died in 2007
My mum and dad met at the Hammermith Palais!
