The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.
I don't particularly like the Boys Keep Swinging...in general I dig him as a personality. He put himself out there in a way that was ahead of his time. I especially liked Ziggy Stardust. A sort of rock and roll version of My Little Pony. ;-)
Well that helps me realize my true age. Who am I kidding?

ReplyDeleteI always liked Boys KeepSwinging myself.. and the Ziggy Stardust persona. After 1980 it was downhill for him for a long time sadly
