The title of this blog comes from a Gaelic expression -"putting on the poor mouth"-which means to exaggerate the direness of one's situation in order to gain time or favour from creditors.

I know how he feels!
To kick the New Year of on a lighter note a gorilla at a German zoo has learned to walk a tightrope.
Poor thing must be so bored, I hope they give him a computer next.
